MANILA: Four people, including a pregnant woman and her nine-year-old daughter, died in a landslide incident in Agoncillo, Batangas, a police report reaching Camp Crame on Wednesday.
The four fatalities were identified as Denden Rimas, 27, pregnant, and her daughter Samantha, 9, and two others believed to be Denden’s siblings Lyca, 16, and Aiza, 13.
The victims were inside their house made of bamboo and other wooden materials when buried by soil caused by landslides in Barangay Subic Ilaya, Agoncillo, the report to Camp Crame stated.
In its Facebook page, the local government of Agoncillo, Batangas said the bodies of the four victims have all been recovered and it will continue to evacuate residents near the area in Sitio Manalao of Barangay Subic Ilaya.

Southwest monsoon or habagat enhanced by Typhoon Carina brought incessant rain in many parts of Luzon, affecting 183,464 families, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
