The National Assembly approved at its ongoing 5th Ordinary Session on Monday four new draft laws and amendments to six existing laws – Commercial Banks, Aquatic Animals and Fisheries, Wildlife, Printing and Distribution, Protection of the Rights and Interests of Children, and Military Court.
The four new draft laws included laws on Land Tax, Law on Public Health, Law on Employment, and Law on Young Pioneers.
Vice President of the National Assembly Chaleun Yiapaoher said in a press conference on the same day that these laws are important and necessary for promoting the implementation of Party and government policies and they constitute fundamental tools for relevant sectors to realize their tasks in line with the requirements of current situation and socio-economic development plan.
