Armenia violates ceasefire with Azerbaijan 116 times

Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 116 times using machine-guns in various directions of the contact line of troops, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Jan. 29.

Armenian armed units stationed on nameless heights and in Berkaber and Paravakar villages of Armenia’s Ijevan district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located on nameless heights an in Gizilhajili village of Gazakh district, Kohnegishlag village of Aghstafa district.

Azerbaijani positions located in the villages of Aghdam, Alibeyli, Kokhanebi of Tovuz ditrict came under fire from Armenian positions located in the village of Mosesgekh, Chinari of Berd district.

Azerbaijani positions located on nameless heights of Gadabay district also underwent fire from Armenian positions located on nameless heights of Krasnoselsk district.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijani positions came under fire from positions located near Talish and Gulustan villages of Goranboy, Chilaburt, Yarimja Chayli, Yusifjanli and Goyarkh villages of Terter, Javahirli, Kengerli, Sarijali, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Shikhlar and Namirli villages of Aghdam, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand, Horadiz, Gorgan, Garakhanbeyli, Ashagi Seyidahmedli villages of Fuzuli, Mehdili village of Jabrayil district and nameless uplands of Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 120 strikes on Armenian positions.
