The Lao People’s Army’s School of Political Studies built with a financial gift of VND301 billion (over US$13 million) was opened on Aug 9 on the sidelines of a two-day visit to the Lao PDR by Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc between Aug 9 and 10.

The construction of the School of Political Studies, sitting on 10 ha of land, began in 2018 and was competed as planned this year.
