Cambodia Marks Two Decades of King Sihamoni’s Reign with Grand Celebrations.


Phnom penh: The 20th anniversary of King Norodom Sihamoni’s coronation was celebrated with a grand ceremony in Phnom Penh, attended by over 10,000 people. The event took place on October 30, marking a significant milestone in the country’s history.

According to Lao News Agency, the celebrations spanned three days, beginning with religious ceremonies and blessing rituals held at the Royal Palace on October 28-29. These events were complemented by exhibitions showcasing the activities and achievements of King Sihamoni throughout his two decades on the throne. In his address, the King urged Cambodians to unite under the Constitution and the law to promote and safeguard national development across all sectors.

The day of King Sihamoni’s coronation, October 29, has been declared a public holiday.
