(KPL) The Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilization (CDAC) will be held on May 15 in Beijing, China to discuss exchanges and mutual learning among civilized communities.
President Xi Jinping has made a range of important thoughts and statements on promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, which have been well received by the international community.
President Xi Jinping is expected to join the opening ceremony of the conference along with more than 2,000 government officials from 47 Asian countries and other parts of the world who represent various fields, educational institutions, films, and media.
Mr Xu Lin, Vice Head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Minister of the Sate Council Information Office and Vice President of the CDAC Organization Committee told a press conference in Beijing last week that the conference will include parallel sessions, the Asian Cultural Carnival, the Asian Civilization Week, which will feature parades, cultural performances, a culture and tourism exhibition, a film week, and a joint exhibition of Asian civilizations.
Chinese and foreign state leaders and head of International Organizations participating in the meeting will have in-depth communications and discussions on exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and also negotiation about some important issues.
This conference will have six sub-forums. There will also be a massive Asian Culture Carnival which will gather 30,000 participants.
