As of Dec 4, Covid-19 vaccination has reached 6.7 million people with 3.23 million, almost 50% of population, fully vaccinated and 4.05 million administered with first dose, shows data of the Centre of Information and Education for Health, Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile, the number of people given all recommended doses of Covid-19 vaccine has reached 72.8 % in Vientiane and 61.6% in Bokeo.

Some 889 new Covid-19 cases and three new deaths attributed to Covid-19 have been reported nationwide over the past 24 hours, according to the National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

Director General of the Department of Communicable Diseases Control, Ministry of Health, Dr Rattanaxay Phetsouvanh told a press conference today that the newly reported infections, detected among 3,867 people tested for Covid-19 yesterday, have raised the total number to 80,722 including 12,088 active cases and 210 deaths
