Deputy Secretary Blinken to Hold Joint Press Availability with Japanese and South Korean Counterparts

Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken will hold a joint press availability with Republic of Korea First Vice Foreign Minister Lim Sung-nam and Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Shinsuke Sugiyama on January 5 at 5:30 p.m.(EST), at the Department of State’s Dean Acheson Auditorium immediately following their trilateral meeting.

Press should plan on arriving at the State Department’s 23rd Street Entrance.

Final access time for video cameras: 4:30 p.m.

Final access for press and still photographers: 5:00 p.m.

Simultaneous interpretation will be available.

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver’s license, passport).
