By virtue of a resolution from the 8th Session of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the workers of the mechanical industry branch are making progress in the production of agricultural machinery, it was announced on Tuesday.

According to the state-run KCNA, officials from the Ministry of Machine Industry of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) acknowledged in details the production status and take precautionary measures to supply raw materials and materials.

The Kumsong Tractor Factory is pushing ahead with the production of parts of the small-sized rice harvester, resolving outstanding technical problems in the manufacture of accessories on its own.

The Huichon Precision Machinery Factory and the Sungri Automobile Combine are boosting the production of mobile rice threshing machines.

Meanwhile, workers and technicians at the Rakwon Machinery Combine and the Hamhung Wheel Factory are recording good work results thanks to creative development processes.
