The European Union Delegation to the Lao PDR is inviting general public to visit A Walk through Lao Heritage Exhibition being held at the National Museum in Vientiane.

Launched since Apr 1, the photo exhibition is being held by the European Union Delegation to the Lao PDR in cooperation with the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, APA Incorporated and Vientiane Modernist.

In this last exhibition, you will find a total of 60 photos, including 10 representing Lao traditional houses, 30 portraying colonial-style buildings, and 20 showing modern Lao buildings.

The photo exhibition themed “Old Town Retelling – A walk through Lao Heritage” is a journey of telling Lao stories and reflecting the values of old buildings through photos and artifacts.

The first edition of the photo exhibition was held at former National Library in Vientiane on May 7-8, 2022. The event was largely welcomed by domestic people and foreigners.

The second and third photo exhibitions were held in Khammuan on Jan 10-11, and Savannakhet on Jan 13-14, 2023 respectively.
