MANILA: GoNegosyo is bringing its mentorship program for students and youth in Bataan after a successful leg in Pasig on April 8, its founder Joey Concepcion said Wednesday.
Concepcion, who also serves as the country’s Private Sector Lead for Jobs, said GoNegosyo is committed to helping the Filipino youth become future-ready with an ‘entrepreneur mindset.’
He did not provide specific details as of yet but said its next stop would be the SM Bataan on Saturday, where at least 60 business mentors will participate.
‘Attend our events, GoNegosyo is going to another school in Bataan High School and on Saturday, we will be in SM Bataan,’ he added.
More than 1,000 have participated at the 4th Youthpreneur Program between GoNegosyo and the Department of Education (DepEd) at the Rizal High School in Pasig City last Monday.
Some of the lectures the program offers are direct selling, sales and marketing, and content creation, an area Concepcion sees the youth excelling in.
Youthpreneur is part of Go Negosyo’s partn
ership with the DepEd to promote entrepreneurship among the youth, build skills through mentorship, increase financial literacy, raise agricultural awareness, cultivate entrepreneurial skills in agriculture, and facilitate industry connections for mentorship, among others.
