The Provincial Administration of Xaysomboun has authorised the Soukchareun Trading, Minerals and Construction Company to conduct a survey of iron ores in Longcheng district, Xaysomboun province.

The Xaysomboun Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, the Xaysomboun Provincial Department of Energy and Mines, Longchaeng district authorities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the iron ore survey on over 34 sq km with the Soukchareun Trading, Minerals and Construction Company.
