Japanese Culture Experience Day Draws Crowded Audience

The Japanese Experience Day was attended by a large audience of all ages and fans of Japanese traditional toys.

The Embassy of Japan in the Lao PDR, in cooperation with Vientiane Center and the Japan Foundation Asia Center organized the Japanese Experience Day on Sep 22, 2018 at Vientiane Center, Vientiane Capital.

During the event, the 3 Gaga Heads, a Japanese performance group gave pleasant and fantastic performances. Ms. Alita Alounsavath, a young Lao singer with bright future prospects shown to the audience by her powerful and beautiful voice.

The audience have tried Yukata (a Japanese summer outfit), origami (paper folding), furosiki (wrapping in cloth), shodo (Japanese calligraphy), Animal Shogi (a Japanese board game), and Japanese traditional toys.

The event provided chances to those interested in trying things out and playing with them, while getting advice from experienced teachers and volunteers studying Japanese language.

Furthermore, Japanese language quiz, J-POP cover dance, cosplay performance and singing and dancing presented by Lao students.
