Lao citizens in Thailand’s Bangkok receive Covid-19 vaccines

Between Oct 26 and 28, thousands of Lao people living in Bangkok, Thailand, were given AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.

The vaccination campaign for the Lao nationals was part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Lao-Thai diplomatic relations.

More than 3,800 Lao people have registered for the Covid-19 vaccine. The second dose of the vaccine will be administered in a couple of weeks’ time, Nov 16-18.

At a launch ceremony, held at SCG Bangsu Station, Bangkok on Oct 26, Ambassador of the Lao PDR to Thailand Seng Soukthivong appreciated Thai medical workers and relevant officials for assisting Lao people in getting access to Covid-19 vaccines.
