Lao Telecom Signs Deal With World Trade Center On Integrated Telecommunication Service

(KPL) Lao Telecom signed an agreement with Lao International Development on Wednesday to provide to an integrated telecommunication service at World Trade Center, a mega project of infrastructure development in Laos.

The World Trade Center project will help enhance the cooperation on economy, trade, investment, and tourism between Laos and China and economic cooperation in ASEAN-China free trade area, according to Lao Telecom Director General Thavone Somsakoun.

The signing ceremony took place at Lao Telecom’s headquarter in Vientiane between Lao Telecom Director General Thavone Somsakoun and Director General of Lao International Development Xiao Long in the presence of members of board of directors of the two companies.

Lao Telecom has recently installed facilities at the World Trade Center to provide telecommunication service for cable telephone, 3G, 4G, and 4.5G mobile phone users, as well as internet and Wi-Fi users.
