Laos receives more than 13.6 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines from international community

Laos has received more than 13.6 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines from international community as of the end of 2021, according to the Centre for Mother and Child Health, Ministry of Health.

The total included 6.90 million doses of Sinopharm, 4.17 million doses of AstraZeneca, 1.77 million doses of Johnson&Johnson, 700,000 doses of Sinovax, 100,620 doses of Pfizer-BioNtec, 30,000 doses of Gamaleya-Sputnik Light and 1,000 doses of Gamaleya-Sputnik V.

The donors included China, Cambodia, the United States, Russia, Australia, France, Greek, Japan, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Poland, and England among others.

Early this month, the United States and Australia delivered more than 799,000 doses of Pfizer-BioNtec and over 905,000 doses of AstraZeneca to Laos.

Laos is expected to receive additionally 3.7 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the first quarter of 2022.
