Tourism service entrepreneurs of guesthouses, hotels, restaurants and local traders in the night market of Oudomxay Province are upgrading their knowledge of proper hospitality and the cooking of quality dishes to serve to tourists.
Authorities of Oudomxay Province are working to further develop tourism in the province by capitalizing on existing potential that is suitable for development to create provincial revenue through the exploitation of new tourist sites and attractions.
As a result, the Oudomxay Information, Culture and Tourism Department commenced a training course on November 28 on hospitality services for innkeepers, food and drink merchants, and others involved in the tourism industry.
The three-day training course aims to increase local tourist entrepreneurs’ understandings of regulations regarding tourism.
