Over 3.267 million people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 as of Aug 16, according to the Centre of Information and Education for Health, Ministry of Health. The vaccinated included 1,756,711 given first shots and 1,510,673 given second doses.

Laos has an ambitious plan to have half of the population (7.169 million (2019)) in the country vaccinated against Covid-19 by the end of this year.
