BUTUAN CITY: The Philippine Statistics Authority in the Caraga Region (PSA-13) reported the authentication of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration of 8,950 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in the region as of March this year.
The authentication was made possible through the joint efforts of PSA-13 and the region’s Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD-13) to ensure the comprehensive registration of 4Ps beneficiaries in the area.
‘From February to March 2024, the DSWD has incentivized the PhilSys registration for unregistered 4Ps beneficiaries in the region,’ the PSA-13 said in a statement on Monday.
The PSA-13 said the move aims to ensure that all 4Ps beneficiaries are comprehensively covered in the PhilSys registry.
A total of 5,915 4Ps beneficiaries in the region have also completed their Step 2 PhilSys registration during the period.
‘By registering 4Ps beneficiaries in PhilSys, the government aims to streamline processes, improve servi
ce delivery, and ensure the effective implementation of social welfare programs,’ the PSA-13 said.
