President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) engaged in a warm and friendly conversation with Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto at the President’s private residence in Surakarta, Central Java on Saturday.ccording to a written statement received from Prabowo’s media team in Jakarta, the conversation took place after Jokowi and Prabowo had a friendly family gathering. The minister arrived with his son, Didit Hediprasetyo, at Jokowi’s residence at 12:00 local time to pay a visit in connection with the 1444 Hijri Eid al-Fitr celebration. The President and First Lady Iriana welcomed them along with their family, including their sons, Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Kaesang Pangarep, and their spouses. Jokowi and Prabowo then had a one-on-one meeting before having lunch together. Based on the information received, Prabowo is scheduled to pay a friendly visit to Habib Syech ibn Abdul Qodir Assegaf at his residence in Surakarta after his meeting the President. Habib Assegaf is one of the renowned ulemas in Surakarta and also a singer of religious songs. He is currently serving as an executive board member of Nahdlatul Ulama for the 2022-2027 period.
