President Thongloun Sisoulith received here on Nov 7, a courtesy visit from a delegation of former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers-experts led by Lieutenant General Huynh Dak Hang, a former head of the expert group, president of the Vietnamese volunteer military in Laos along with the delegation on working visit in Laos.
President Thongloun expressed his welcome and high appreciation to Huynh Dak Hang who led the delegation to visit Laos, which is great contribution to enhancing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, the two States and the people of the two countries Laos and Vietnam.
He also appreciated the achievements of the people of Vietnam and Laos, which have been achieved in the mission of protecting and building the nation in the past, making the Socialist Republic of Vietnam grow stronger day by day, with strong political stability, the peaceful and order society leading to economy growth continuously, the living conditions of the people have been significantly improved, the role of Vietnam has been promoted to a higher level in the regional and international arena.
