Chief of the Propaganda and Training Board of the Party Central Committee, Mr Khamphan Pheuyavong and his delegation have donated relief aid package and consumer goods to the flood victim families in La district, Oudomxay province.

Handover ceremony was held in La District, Oudomxay Province on Sept 3 between Mr Khamphan and Governor of Oudomxay Province, Mr Bounkhong Lachiamphone in the presence of relevant officials.

The aid package was donated by individual and business sectors including DokNgiew Kham Group 1 billion kip, Chaleunxay Investment Co., Ltd 50 million kip, Oudomxay Chianger Cement Company 30 million kip, Joint Development Bank 20 million kip, Faxayo Company (Bokeo Province) 15 million kip, the Sisanchaleunsouk Road-Bridge Construction and Agricultural Development Company 10 million kip and other companies with a total amount of 1.1 billion kip.

Between August 27- September 3, the Economic Committee raised funds with worth 3.2 billion kip, of which about 700 million kip was foodstuff and consumer goods.
