Batanes and Cagayan including Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the presence of a shear line, the weather bureau reported on Sunday. Palawan, Caraga and Davao Region will also experience the same weather conditions but this time due to easterlies, according to the 4 a.m. report released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). Warnings of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains were raised in these areas. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds blowing from northeast to east while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds from east to northeast. The temperature will be at a maximum of 31.8 °C at 1 p.m. from a minimum of 24.3 °C at 5 a.m.
