The local company Suanthounxay has spent more than 72 billion kip (U$$9 million) for the construction of a water supply plant to supply the Savan-Seno Special Economic Zone.
In addition, the company plans to supply water to local communities in the districts of Kaysone Phomvihane and Outhoumphone.
The water supply plant will be located in Nachalith village, Kaysone Phomvihane district and will cover part of Outhoumphone district.
The project aims to supply sufficiently clean water to local people as well as to contribute to the development of basic infrastructure and socio-economic development in the province.
The water supply plant is designed to bring water from irrigation systems to produce a water supply and other related facilities.
