(KPL) Vientiane Center Lao Public Company has launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for local and foreign buyers.
Wednesday’s launch witnessed the presence of LSX Secretary General Saysamone Chanthachack and representatives of business community.
The public company will sell up to 63.9 million shares at a price of 1,050 kip per share to yield a capital of at least 67 billion kip, according to the Vice President of the Vientiane Center Lao Public Co., Ltd Olathay Santikhongkha.
The company owns Vientiane Center, a high end shopping centre in Vientiane Capital. The shopping centre is a pilot project under the Belt and Road Initiative and has attracted attention from both Chinese and Lao governments.
We plan to raise funds through the Lao Securities Exchange by launching IPO to upgrade our shopping center in the future, said Ms Olathay Santikhongkha.
Vientiane Center IPO can be booked through the Lao-China Securities Exchange Company and the BCEL- KT Securities Company.
