With confidence, strong competitiveness, China’s Anhui has an innovative programme to march forward

On October 18, the press Center of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held the first and second group interviews.
The spokesmen of 14 delegations from Beijing, Tianjin, Anhui and other provinces attended and introduced their delegations’ discussion on the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and answered the journalists’ questions.
“China University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other units have successfully developed the ‘Zucongzhi No. 2’ and ‘Jiuzhang No. 2′ prototype quantum computing machines. Meanwhile, the new ceramic and aluminum material technology of Shanghai Jiao Tong University based in Huaibei has been successfully applied to key components such as large aircraft and weather satellites…”
In a group interview, Guo Qiang, spokesperson of the Anhui delegation, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of Anhui Province, listed these scientific and technological cooperation projects when answering questions about the Yangtze River Delta Integration.
In recent years, Anhui has deeply implemented the science and technology innovation “tree planting project”: facing the world science and technology frontier, to build the Yangtze River Delta science and technology innovation Community; Facing the main battlefield of the economy, to jointly promote the high-quality coordinated development of the three industries; To meet the major needs of the country, the key core technologies are combined.
“We will jointly build a defense line for public safety in view of people’s lives and health,” said Guo Qiang. “Anhui has integrated into the national strategy of Yangtze River Delta network.”
In the past 10 years, Anhui has achieved leapfrog development. Last year, its economic aggregate reached 4.3 trillion yuan (over US$0.59 trillion), and its per capita GDP exceeded 10,000 US dollars. It has also achieved leapfrog development from a province with science and education to a source of scientific and technological innovation.
“In the next step, we will further study, publicize and implement the Party’s 20 National Spirit, closely focus on the two key words’ integration ‘and’ high quality ‘, strengthen innovation collaboration, deepen industrial collaboration, and jointly promote the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta,” Guo Qiang said.
