World Journalists Conference 2019 Kicks Off In R. Korea

(KPL) The World Journalists Conference 2019 was launched on Mar 25 in Seoul, Republic of Korea under the theme World Peace and the Role of Journalists to discuss the role of journalists for world peace.

Hosted by the Journalists Association of the Republic of Korea, the meeting has been participated by journalists from more than 50 countries around the world.

The conference also aims to help participants enrich their knowledge of the culture and economic development of the Republic of Korea.

A visit to the nation’s administrative capital of Sejong, Daejeon and Gwangju known as the symbol of the nation’s democracy as well as various progammes has also been scheduled to enable the participants to observe the Korean society and its beautiful culture.

Participants will also visit Incheon, home to the nation’s gateway of Incheon International Airport, to observe the beautiful and eco-friendly city.

Between March 24 and 30, the journalists visited and will visit many well-known places of the Republic of Korea to learn about the Republic of Korea’s policies aimed at building peace on the Korean Peninsula and have a hands-on experience of the everyday lives of Koreans.
