Defense officials pay respect to revolutionary martyrs on Army’s Day

Senior officials of the Ministry of National Defense led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath laid wreaths and bouquets of flowers at Unknown Soldiers’ Monument (Red Star), Kaysone Phomvihane Memorial and the National Cemetery on the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the Lao People’s Army (Jan 20, 1949-2023).

The activity aimed to pay respect and gratitude for the moral deeds and heroism of ancestors and revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed for the national revolutionary cause under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.

Beloved President Kaysone Phomvihane dedicated his life to leading Lao people’s struggle against the invasion of imperialists to victory. His great deeds have been well embedded in the hearts of all Lao people
