Four have tested positive to Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, according to the National Taskforce Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

The newly reported cases included three local transmissions in Vientiane and one imported case – returning worker from Thailand – in the southern province of Savannakhet.

Some 2,080 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded since the first case was detected in the country in late March 2020. The number includes 1,962 recoveries and three deaths.
