Lao, Vietnamese and Cambodian armies have agreed to further enhance their trilateral cooperation and solidarity.
Defence Ministers from the three countries met in Vientiane on January 15.
The meeting was co-chaired by Lt Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath, Minister of Defence of Laos, his Vietnamese and Cambodian counterparts, Gen. Ngo Xuan Lik and Gen. Tea Banh, respectively.
The ministers have pledged to resort on a peaceful mean to solve the problem in case of unexpectedly apparent conflicts.
They agreed to crack down smuggling, drug crimes, human trafficking and transnational crimes along the common borders of the three countries.
Lao and Cambodian armies have also agreed to urge their respective border demarcation committees to speed up inspection and demarcation activities along the common border.
