Russian Embassy holds a press conference on situation in Ukraine

Third Secretary of the Russian Embassy to the Lao PDR Danil A. Vodopianov organized on Jul 1st in Vientiane a press conference on the progress of Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine.

He stated that almost the whole areas of LPR and DPR and the entire Kherson, including key areas of Kharkov and Zaporozhye, the ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk in the Sea of Azov have been liberated from neo-nazis. Meanwhile, goods and passenger transport, including by rail, between Crimea and Melitopol has been resumed.

Russia’s armed forces raided only Ukrainian military bases and used only high-precision weapons in order to facilitate the evacuation of civilians from danger zones. Russia has also established a humanitarian corridor.

Since the military operation began, over 2.15 million civilians including 340,000 children have fled to Russia.

Russia has provided humanitarian aid to DPR and LPR residents living in areas liberated from neo-nazi in Ukraine.

Since February 24, about 37,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid, including food, medicines and basic necessities, have been sent to Ukraine.
