Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Co., Ltd has hired APM (LAO) Securities Co., Ltd., known as APMLAO, as its financial advisor to facilitate its preparation for registration on the Lao Securities Exchange (LSX).
The appointment was signed in Vientiane on Wednesday between President of Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Co., Ltd. Mr Sangkhom Chansouk, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of APMLAO Mr Somphob Sakpanpanom, in the presence of Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines Mr Thongphat Inthavong, representatives from LSX and the Lao Securities Commission Office, and high-ranking officials from relevant sectors.
The advisor will assist the company in upgrading its business structure, financial structure, accounting system, business plan, and preparation for its registration on the LSX in order to enhance the business’ competitiveness and expand its business operations.
“We plan to raise funds from the stock market through our initial public offering (IPO) to expand our construction material business which has recorded a high growth rate in the country, and to strengthen our company’s competitiveness in local and neighbouring countries,” said Mr Sangkhom.
The raised funds will also be used to develop new products to meet the needs of customers, he noted.
“We also plan to export our products to neighbouring countries as well as become a leader for complex home solutions,” said Mr Sangkhom.
Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Co., Ltd currently has total production capacity of metal roofing sheets in many different sizes of 3.9 million pieces per year.
Mr Somphob said that APMLAO would help the company arrange its business structure, financial structure and accounting system as well as prepare to be listed on the stock market in the country.
“We expect to submit filing for Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Co., Ltd. to the Lao Securities Committee Office to begin raising funds at the end of 2017 or in early 2018 in order to expand the business in the future,” said Mr Somphob.
Santiphab Sangkasi Lao Co., Ltd. is located on Kamphengmeuang road, Sisattanak district, Vientiane and was established in 1989.
