Doha: 42dot, Hyundai Motor Group’s global software research startup, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Qatar-based investment firm Protocol Capital Group to collaborate on developing a smart city project in the Middle Eastern country.

According to Lao News Agency, the MOU outlines plans for both companies to introduce smart city solutions and robotaxi services in downtown Doha, Qatar. This partnership aims to advance a mobility-driven smart city concept, leveraging 42dot’s expertise in autonomous driving technologies.
