The main objective of the activity, he said is for the department to capture all intended incoming Kindergarten and Grades 1, 7 and 11 that will help the department in preparing for the next school year. ‘This is to ensure that once they enter our public schools, we can provide adequate learning resources and materials. This is just among the data that we combined to make sure that every child in the region is provided with appropriate education,’ Escullar added. The spokesperson clarified that those who fail to enlist during the early registration can still enroll during the enrollment period, which is yet to be announced by DepEd through an official school calendar. ‘The campaign to reach our target audience is not only for the early registration but during enrollment, which is being done intensely by our schools,’ he said.
