Manila: The Philippine Chamber of Commerce in Industry (PCCI) is calling for a long-term solution to the power concerns in Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan following the power outage which started Sept. 13 and was only restored on Monday afternoon. PCCI Western Visayas governor and incoming national vice president, lawyer Jobert Pe±aflorida said what happened was a huge disruption for business, especially for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
According to Philippines News Agency, Pe±aflorida emphasized the significant impact of the power disruption, particularly during challenging times for Boracay’s micro, small, and medium enterprises.
