A seminar was held in Vientiane last Friday, under theme “Increasing connectivity between regions, developing East-West transport corridors” for the year 2022.
The event was organized by Tan Cang Sai Gon Company drawing representatives from Laos and Vietnam’s National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Transport Associations, businessmen, entrepreneurs, logistics experts from both countries.
The consultation meeting is to enhance cooperation, increase connectivity between regions, develop the eastern and western corridors and promote, exchange lessons, experiences, legislation, transport contracts, transport truck associations, transport stations and distribution centers.
Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce Promotion of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Somvixay Vongthilat, said that the ouput of the meeting will play an important role in encouraging, promoting potential transportation and increasing the value of trade between the two countries in order to achieve the goals set by both Lao and Vietnamese governments.
