The Lao News Agency (KPL) and the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) have pledged to further enhance bilateral cooperation on news exchange aiming at promoting mutual understanding between people of the two countries.
The commitment was made during a meeting between Director General of KPL, Mr Khampheuy Philapha and his visiting Bulgarian counterpart, Mr Kiril Valchev in Vientiane on Jul 26.
Valchev’s visit to Laos aims to restore bilateral relations and cooperation between the two news agencies after the two signed their first cooperation agreement in 1981.
