President Thongloun called for unity among the people and reaffirmed the Party’s commitment to its ideals, stressing how much Laos has achieved over the past 70 years. He stated, ‘The establishment of the LPRP was a historic event that laid the foundation for the prosperous nation we are today. It was a selfless struggle for national liberation, leading the country to independence and paving the way for its growth and progress.’
On this historic occasion, President Thongloun also expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the Party and government to the friendly countries that have supported Laos throughout its journey, particularly over the past 70 years.
