(KPL) Late last month:tone House as a local heritage site in Savannakhet Province. The meeting was attended by Phra Ajan Sonepheth Ngonelasasing, Abbot of Phathatphon Temple; Ms. Daovone Xaysoulien, Governor of Xayphouthong District, and representatives from relevant authorities.

According to Lao News Agency, the meeting aimed to address technical details concerning the cultural management of Phathatphon-Stone House, which plays a significant role in the tourism strategy of Savannakhet Province, especially in Xayphouthong District. Ms. Daovone highlighted that preservation efforts for Phathatphon and Stone House have seen substantial progress in recent years.

During the meeting, participants concurred on the necessity to establish conservation and management boundaries for the site’s archaeological monuments and structures. They also discussed various aspects such as mapping Phathatphon-Stone House, defining the dimensions of the stupa, construction techniques, materials to be used, and the renovation proce
