Oudomxay Province has a plan toe open Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Service Centre on September 1.
The centre, which share the Office of the Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a service centre, is designed to provide consulting to businessmen, organising seminars, become a businesspeople gathering, a training centre for promoting SMEs access new sources of capital and innovation in order to improve the development of products and services aimed at making SMEs grow sustainably be able to integrate and compete both domestic and international markets.
The plan was unveiled at a recent meeting organised by Oudomxay Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Department of Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Somchit Inthamith, Chairman of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Bounpheng Sibounnbang, Director of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Department, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and Mr. Sonthanou Singdala, Head of Oudomxay Industry and Commerce and related officials.
