Vladivostok: Thai business is interested in establishing cooperation with Russia in the spheres of food and agricultural products trading, energy, tourism, and innovations, according to Meechai Thaocharean, Thailand’s representative to the International Alliance for Strategic Projects BRICS (IASP BRICS), who spoke to TASS about the Thai delegation’s participation in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
According to Lao News Agency, the BRICS International Alliance Strategic Project team from Thailand will participate in the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September. Thaocharean emphasized that the forum serves as an important platform for building international cooperation networks in investment, trade, and future joint project development, especially in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Thai businesses are particularly keen on developing cooperation with Russia across various sectors, including trade and investment, agriculture, food, energy, tourism, as well as technology and innovation areas that can be exp
anded to create sustainable mutual benefits. The 10th Eastern Economic Forum, with the key topic “The Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity,” will be held in Vladivostok from September 3 to 6, 2025.
