The Politburo and the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee held a meeting in Hanoi on August 30 under the chair of Party General Secretary and State President To Lam to discuss some important documents. The event focused on the draft political report to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, the draft review report on some theoretical and practical issues of the socialist-oriented Doi moi (Renewal) process over the last 40 years in Vietnam, and some other issues expected to be considered at the 10th session of the 13th-tenure Party Central Committee.
