Vientiane: In response to an invitation from Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, along with a delegation of high-ranking Vietnamese officials, will visit Laos and co-chair the 47th annual meeting of the Laos-Vietnam Intergovernmental Committee.

According to Lao News Agency, the meeting will be held in Vientiane, Laos, from January 9 to 10, 2025. The visit aims to further strengthen the great relationship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the Lao PDR and Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on January 6.
