Badminton World Federation partners with FoundIt

MANILA: The Badminton World Federation (BWF) forged a partnership with talent platform FoundIt that would see the Indian-based company become BWF’s official talent partner.

In a press briefing via Zoom on Monday, Saurabh Srivastava, FoundIt’s chief marketing officer, said the company’s name will be visible in major BWF events.

“Across 20 events in a year, you will see ‘FoundIt’ on-ground and digitally across multiple touch points,” Srivastava said.

Among the major events which FoundIt will have an advertorial presence are the Thomas and Uber Cups, All England Open, Malaysia Open, Singapore Open, and the India Open.

Thomas Lund, BWF’s secretary general, expressed optimism about the newfound partnership.

“It’s one of those partnerships that will help the growth of both BWF — badminton in particular — and FoundIt in achieving their objectives,” Lund said. “I’m very confident that this is a very positive and mutually good partnership.”

‘This partnership is a testament to FoundIt’s unwavering commitment
to enabling and connecting the right talent with the right opportunities. Badminton’s immense popularity in our core markets, particularly among young professionals, makes this partnership a powerful tool for engaging with the millions of job seekers and recruiters across the markets,’ FoundIt chief executive officer Sekhar Garisa said

FoundIt aims to partner with grassroots academies and badminton players from India and Southeast Asia.
