MANILA: Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) has provided options following disruptions at the Dubai International Airport as a result of the recent heavy rains and flooding.
The options include free rebooking or a travel fund for those who would like to postpone their flights until April 24.
These may be availed of up to two hours before their scheduled departure, CEB said in an advisory.
“Our top priority has been to bring our passengers to their intended destinations as soon as conditions permit. In the process, there have been delays in the delivery of baggage from Dubai. Rest assured that CEB is working with Dubai airport authorities to ensure that passengers will receive their baggage as soon as possible,” the advisory read.
The heavy rains and flooding on Tuesday caused flight disruptions throughout the United Arab Emirates and subsequently resulted in significant congestion at Dubai Airport.
Passengers are advised to update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive email notif

According to the Manila International Airport Authority, seven flights are scheduled between Manila and Dubai on Friday: Emirates 336/337, 332/333, 334/335 Manila-Dubai-Manila, and CEB’s 5J 014 Manila-Dubai.
