Members of the National Assembly approved this morning at their ongoing 3rd Ordinary Session five new key positions including two Deputy Prime Ministers and Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR according to the proposal of Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh.
The newly appointed Vice Premiers include Minister of Public Security Vilay Lakhamfong and Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith.
At the meeting chaired by President of the National Assembly Xaysomphone Phomvihane, Bounleua Sinxayvoladeth was appointed as new Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR as Vilaythong Kommasith was named new Minister of Industry and Commerce and Viengthavisone Thepphachanh appointed as new President of the State Audit Organisation.
