MANILA: President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed Maria Lourdes Doria-Velarde as acting member of the Board of Trustees of the Home Development Fund (Pag-IBIG).
In a statement on Monday, the Presidential Communications Office said Doria-Velarde will represent the private employers’ sector.
She will replace Mylah Roque, the wife of former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Doria-Velarde served as a deputy general manager for administration of Duty Free Philippines.
She was also a member of the Board of Trustees of Nayong Pilipino Foundation and Intercontinental Broadcasting Corp.
