Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh has expressed condolences over a mass shooting at a kindergarten in Nongbua Lamphu, Thailand.
In his condolence message sent to his Thai counterpart Prayuth Chan-ocha, Prime Minister Phankham said, “I have learned with profound depression and sadness that a criminal committed crimes at Outhaisavan Kindergarten in Nakang District, Nongbua Lamphu Province, Thailand on October 6, 2022 which claimed lives and caused injuries for several children and innocent people.
On behalf of the government and people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and on my own behalf, I would like to express deep condolences and sympathy to you and through you to the government and people of Thailand, especially to the families of the victims of this tragic incidence.
I am confident that under the leadership of Your Excellency and the government of Thailand, the Thai people will overcome these hardships and restore normal situation soon.”
