Over 3.77 million people across the country have been vaccinated against Covid-19 with over 2.109 million given first doses and 1.664 million given second doses, according to the Centre of Information and Education for Health, Ministry of Health.
Laos has recorded 152 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours including 65 local transmissions and 87 imported cases.
They were detected among 2,427 people tested for Covid-19 yesterday.
The imported cases included 25 reported in Khammuan, 22 in Champassak, 21 in Savannakhet, 15 in Vientiane, two in Saravan and one each in Xayaboury and Borikhamxay.
Of the local infections, 43 were reported in Savannakhet, 18 in Bokeo, three in Vientiane and one in Luang Namtha.
With the latest infections, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 12,621 including 4,305 active cases and 11 deaths.
